NACC Applauds Expanded Education Investment for Canadian Armed Forces Reserve Members
Ottawa, ON – July 29, 2026 – The National Association of Career Colleges (NACC) welcomes the Government of Canada’s announcement to significantly expand education reimbursement for members of the Canadian Armed Forces Primary Reserve to strengthen opportunities for reservists to pursue post-secondary education while continuing their service to Canada.
The enhanced program increases education reimbursement for eligible Primary Reserve members to 75 per cent of allowable education expenses, up to $7,500 per academic year, with a lifetime maximum of $30,000—a substantial investment in the professional development and future success of Canada’s reservists.
