Today, NACC is delighted to announce the launch of our brand-new NACC Instructor Certification Program (ICP), developed in collaboration with MaxKnowledge. This innovative program is tailored to support the skill development and expertise of educators at our member colleges, ensuring they are well-prepared to deliver exceptional education to adult learners at Regulated Career Colleges across Canada.
What is the NACC Instructor Certification Program?
The NACC ICP is a self-led, comprehensive training program designed to enhance the teaching skills of instructors across all programs. Whether you’re looking to refine your techniques or expand your knowledge, this program offers a structured path for professional growth, complete with certifications at various levels.
Key Program Features:
- Flexible Learning: Instructors can choose to take the program one course at a time or enroll in the entire program, which can be completed within a year. To make this even more accessible, NACC members can enjoy a discounted rate of $149 per course by using the VIP code “823091”.
- Professional Certification: By completing Level 1 & 2, participants can earn the prestigious Certified Higher Education Professional (CHEP) in Teaching credential, awarded in partnership with Career Education Colleges and Universities (CECU) in the US. Additionally, those who complete the Level 1A certification can further enhance their credentials by earning the CHEP in Online Teaching by completing two more courses from our Continuing Education offerings.
- Supportive Learning Community: The program fosters a collaborative environment where educators from across Canada can connect through user group forums and support networks, promoting lifelong learning and professional growth.
- Continuing Education Opportunities: Looking to dive deeper into a specific area? Our program offers a wide range of self-paced continuing education courses covering essential topics like teaching & learning, online instruction, student retention, and career support.
