We are pleased to share that NACC has formalized a partnership with Age Safe® Canada, making their innovative Senior Home Safety Specialist™ (SHSS) micro-credential course available to your students and alumni at a preferred rate.

The SHSS™ micro-credential is a comprehensive, 5-hour asynchronous course, developed in partnership with Canadian professionals in the healthcare and senior care sectors. The course empowers professionals with actionable ways to better help educate clients, older adults and their family members on the serious issues of home safety, fall prevention, financial exploitation and personal safety.

This training is available across Canada and would be beneficial to any of your students and alumni whose career path will have them caring for seniors in a home setting, such as Personal Support Workers, Health Care Aides, Personal Care Aides, Continuing Care Assistants, Resident Care Workers, Home Support Workers, and Community Support Workers.

As part of this partnership, all regulated career colleges who purchase access to the SHSS™ program for their students through NACC will receive a discounted rate.
