Kevin McCarthy is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in public policy and the financial sector. He is deeply passionate about imparting essential personal finance skills to students across Canada. Kevin’s interest in financial education began in Grade 9, influenced by The Wealthy Barber.
In his previous role in Ottawa, he managed the financial literacy file for Finance Minister Jim Flaherty and was crucial in launching the Tax-Free Savings Account. Before joining Enriched, Kevin held various roles at Scotiabank. He worked for over a decade in government, contributing significantly to Canada’s financial landscape, including during the 2008-2009 financial crisis and the design of eight federal budgets.
