NACC Launches International Marketing Brand at Conference for Educational Agents
OTTAWA – December 3rd, 2012 – Canada’s oldest post-secondary association, the National Association of Career Colleges (NACC) has launched a new international marketing brand – Career Colleges Canada – to encourage more international students to attend career colleges in Canada.
This new marketing initiative was officially launched at the International Consultants for Education and Fairs (ICEF) North American Workshop in Miami, a conference that connects educational institutions with educational agents to help promote recruitment. The conference runs from December 2-4, 2012.
www.careercollegescanada.com will allow international students and educational agents to learn more about programs at career colleges in Canada. It will provide information about individual colleges, answer important questions that international students have and provide contact information for the colleges.
“An education at a Canadian institution is highly valued internationally,” said Serge Buy, NACC’s CEO. “The Career Colleges Canada brand will help us to further promote our colleges internationally.”
NACC’s new marketing efforts will also include a comprehensive searchable database so that students will be able to search for individual subject areas and locations to find the program and college that are best for them. Many career college programs are accredited and recognized by various organizations, including the Canadian Medical Association and the Law Society of Upper Canada.
“This new initiative puts career colleges on the same playing field as other institutions in Canada,” added Mr. Buy.
