Due to the tremendous success of last year’s Leadership Academy, NACC will be offering it again this year.
The 2013 Leadership Academy will take place April 22nd-24th in Vancouver, BC, in the days preceding NACC’s 2013 Conference and AGM.
This year’s sessions will focus on:
• Strategic planning and education
• Delivery methods
• Marketing and social media
• Human resources
• Sector-related accounting (for non-financial managers)
These sessions are particularly geared toward:
• Middle managers or prospective managers who need additional training.
• Faculty or staff that have been identified for enhanced leadership responsibilities.
• Staff that will work hard and accept the challenges that the Academy will put to them.
• Individuals who have earned your “vote of confidence”.

I have been to many conferences and workshops over the years, and by far this was the most interactive and most informative I have attended to date. Well worth the investment of my time.
Dave McCormick, Director of Admissions/Vice President, Herzing College Ottawa
I attended the first ever NACC Leadership Academy, and I could not believe how much I learned. I have been in the private education business for 22 years and found this to be one of the best professional development seminars I have ever attended. From understanding financial statements to human resources, there was valuable information that helps me in my day to day responsibilities. It was also so great to network with other education professionals from around the country. I would recommend this for any individual in a management position.
Cheryl Harrison, Vice President – Operations, MC College
I thoroughly enjoyed attending the 2012 NACC Leadership Academy. It was great to network with my colleagues from schools across the country while learning about leadership and training. I particularly enjoyed the sessions covering the Strengths Finder profile and human resource management. I look forward to hearing about future Leadership Academies.
