NACC Joining Canadian Delegation to Germany and the United Kingdom to Study Training Systems
OTTAWA – March 7, 2014 – The National Association of Career Colleges (NACC) is pleased to announce it will accompany the Honourable Jason Kenney, Minister of Employment and Social Development on a six-day Canadian mission to study training systems in Germany and the United Kingdom.
“NACC would like to thank Minister Kenney for his continued recognition of the important contributions career colleges make to skills training across the country, and for the invitation to join him on the Canadian mission to study successful training systems in Europe” said Serge Buy, NACC’s Chief Executive Officer. “Our association looks forward to sharing best practices with our counterparts in Germany and the UK, building on the great skills training career colleges already provide here in Canada. With the coming bilateral agreements on the Canada Job Grant, NACC members are well positioned to provide even more Canadians with the skills they need and employers demand.”
