Willis College announced an innovative job creation program with Fortinet, a leading network security provider and world leader of unified threat management solutions.  As a result of the partnership, Willis College will expand its staff and rapidly grow its Ottawa campus security curricula to train students to meet this labour demand.

“Most of the job growth we’ve seen at our Ottawa headquarters has been in the area of technical support and our new professional and educational services,” said Michael Anderson, Vice President of Services at Fortinet.  “We look forward to partnering with Willis College on their security program and recruiting their best and brightest students as soon as they graduate.”

Fortinet will collaborate on a comprehensive classroom curriculum that will provide students with complete network security installation and configuration experience.

As of March 2012, Fortinet has hired 8 Willis College graduates.
